Detectives in Cairo are stepping up their efforts to uncover the mystery of the fact that a girl’s body was found in Maadi with traces of abrasions, which turned out to be the result of being dragged down the street and falling to the ground, resulting in in his death.
Lieutenant Colonel Islam Bakr, head of the investigation department of the Maadi Police Station, received a notification from residents that a girl’s body had been found on a street in the department.
When detectives moved to the scene of the incident, it became clear that the body of a girl in her thirties was found.
Investigative officers in Cairo, under the supervision of Major General Nabil Salim, Director of the Capital’s General Investigation Department, were able to obtain the video material via surveillance cameras at the site where the body was found.
It turned out that while the victim was walking down the street, she was assaulted and harassed by strangers in a car. The victim was trapped in it due to her handbag sticking to her, leading to her being dragged after the perpetrators rushed her car into the street, resulting in her death.
Detectives also called eyewitnesses. Reveal more details about the event and determine its circumstances, which helps to identify the accused, arrest them and transfer them to the Public Ministry.
A report on the incident was prepared and the Public Ministry was notified, which promptly ordered investigations into the incident.
