Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a follow-up meeting of the executive position to prepare the inventory and management system of real estate assets, in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Eng. Khalid Al-Attar, Vice Minister of Communications for Administrative Development, Digital Transformation and Mechanization.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of speeding up the implementation of the inventory and property management system, which leads us to a desired goal, which is to reach a national number for each property, indicating that this is a real guarantee to achieve governance in all procedures and actions related to real estate, which also contributes to the preservation of the property. And providing services easily and conveniently in a short period of time, while contributing to reducing violations and infringements, and supporting Egypt’s position according to global indicators in the field of information technology and thus attracting major global investments.

For his part, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stated that the “Real Estate Inventory and Management System” aims to achieve a rational management of real estate wealth through the construction of a spatial database precise, integrated with the Egyptian state information infrastructure project, within the framework of the state strategy towards digital transformation. .

The minister explained that to achieve its objectives, the system will create a unified and central database for all types of establishments, with the definition of building requirements in localities and urban communities, licensing data and violations for each property, as well as the determination of the value of the real estate taxes to be collected, and ownership data through the real estate month. An account of the actions that have been carried out, in addition to the administrative division of each state entity, and data on the consumption of public services including water, electricity and gas.

The Vice Minister of Communications also presented the lines of work to implement this system, which works to ensure the integration between applications with each other at the level of the same entity and at the level of various state agencies, such as the commercial registry, tax registry, civil status, agencies and courts, as well as integration with the “digital Egypt portal” to provide advanced services, in addition to ensuring the link between the participating parties with the central system, and expanding the use of satellite images in the preparation of the geographic database in continuous updating of data and development of work tools.

During the meeting, Eng. Khalid Al-Attar presented a practical model for one of the services before development and after the completion of the implementation and activation of the system, which is the work cycle for issuing a workshop license , where he explained the procedures required to perform this service before development, which takes about 4 months and requires approvals from dozens of agencies. And a lot of time in examining applications, documents, inspection, approvals and extraction of the license of the store, while reviewing a series of work cycles after the development of some services, such as the issuance of a license and the registration of a property , which will be done in a more convenient way and in a short time of procedures and times, depending on the intelligent applications.
