Today, Monday, the new Jordanian government, headed by Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, took the constitutional oath before King Abdullah II and included 31 ministers, including 3 women.
This government came to succeed the government of Dr. Omar Razzaz, which was devastated by severe criticism in the context of several crises, to which the Coronavirus is added.
The new government included the appointment of Al-Khasawneh as Prime Minister and Defense Minister, and the appointment of 3 deputies to him: Tawfiq Krishan, Minister of Local Administration, Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Umayya Toukan, Minister of State of Economic Affairs.
Tawfiq Al-Halimah was appointed Minister of the Interior, Nazir Obeidat as Minister of Health, Muhammad Al-Asas as Minister of Finance, Ali Al-Ayed as Minister of Information, Maan Al-Qatamin as Minister of Labor, Nayef Al-Fayez as Minister of Tourism, Muhammad Al-Khalayleh as Minister of Endowments and Housing and Al-Khalayleh as Minister of Endowments and Housing and Al-Kasser.
While the agriculture portfolio was assigned to Muhammad Dawudiya, and education to facilitate Al-Nuaimi, Musa Al-Maaytah was appointed Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Bassem Al-Tuaysi as Minister of Culture, Muhammad Faris Al-Nabulsi as Minister of Youth, Mutassim Al-Saeedan as Minister of Water and Irrigation and Bassam Talhouni as Minister of Justice.
Nabil Al-Massawati was appointed Minister of the Environment, Maha Al-Ali as Minister of Industry and Commerce, Marwan Al-Khaitan as Minister of Transport, Hala Zawati as Minister of Energy, Ayman Al-Mafleh as Minister of Social Development and Nawaf Al -Such as Minister of State for Government Coordination and Follow-up Affairs.
Ibrahim Mashhour Haditha Al-Jazi, Minister of State for Prime Minister Affairs, Ahmed Nuri Muhammad Al-Ziyadat as Minister of State for Legal Affairs, “Muhammad Khair” Ahmed Muhammad Abu Qudis, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mahmoud al- Kharabsheh as Minister of State and Rab’a Mufleh Odeh Al-Minister of State To develop institutional performance, Ahmed Qassem Theeb Al-Hananda as Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
A minister infected with Corona and another in stone
Mahmoud Al-Kharabsheh will take the constitutional oath later, for being in sanitary isolation, after being infected with Corona, and also Nawaf Al-Tal, who is undergoing a mandatory quarantine period, for his return from travel.

Notable outputs
Among the most prominent departures from their ministries are Interior Minister Salama Hammad, whose ministry faced criticism in its handling of teacher protests recently, and Health Minister Saad Jaber and Media Amjad Al-Adaileh, who were the two most prominent government names in the Corona pandemic crisis.
Also noteworthy are the departures of the Minister of Labor, Nidal Bataineh, and Muthanna Gharaibeh, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The Razzaz squad included 3 women, one of whom was from the Razzaz government, Hala Zawati, and two were entering a government formation for the first time, namely: Maha Al-Ali and Rabia Al-Ajarmah.
In its first report on the Al-Khasawneh government, the “Monitor” Center for Monitoring Government Performance indicated that the average age of Bishr Al-Khasawneh ministers is 59, while the average age of male ministers is 60 years old and the average age of women is 55.
