Al-Ahli Bank officially promoted to Premier League

The Al-Ahly Bank club managed to be promoted to the 2020/2021 Premier League season for the first time in its history, after leading the first group, “Upper Egypt”, in the last round of the second section competition.

The Al-Ahly Bank team drew 1-1 with Assiut Petroleum on matchday 22 of the second division league, to be promoted to the Premier League next season thanks to head-to-head clashes and their victory over Beni Suef.

In the same round, Beni Suef managed to win 2-0 at Tahta’s expense in the same round, tying with Al-Ahly Bank with 44 points for each team.

Al-Ahli Bank excelled in the head-to-head results, as they won the first round match 1-0 and managed to win the second round match 2-0.
