Cairo – Masrawy:
The battle of artist Ahmed Fahmy and Mahmoud Abdel-Razek “Shikabala” in the last hours of Friday was neither a coincidence nor the result of an accidental dispute at the wedding of Sherif Munir Hassan, a former member of the White Board of Directors.
The relationship of the duo, which had close ties – before last February – was tense due to the events of the last match of the Egyptian Super Cup, which ended with Zamalek winning a penalty shoot-out and witnessed riots after which they led to the suspension of Shikabala.
Fahmy publicly criticized Shikabala through his account on the social network “Facebook” in the context of the Zamalek leader’s skirmishes with Al-Ahly fans.
Fahmy said after the Super Match: “Don’t laugh at the respectable big white fans, because you dressed like Kahraba, you used to stay in Al-Ahly, but the only difference is that Kahraba was welcome.”
Fahmy revealed: “I myself mediated with you at the time of engineer Mahmoud Taher’s meeting, through Dr. Hisham Al-Amiri, member of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club, at this time, based on your wish and my request was met with laughter, not just a rejection, knowing that you spent a long time before this incident. “
Fahmy’s words created a break in the relationship with Shikabala despite the former’s solidarity with the Zamalek leader against the attack he was subjected to until Farah Munir Hassan arrived.
Mustafa Saif Al-Ammari, a former member of the Zamalek board of directors, led Fahmy to clarify matters, and the latter shook hands with Shikabala, amid reproaches between the two parties, but the matter caught fire.
.
Shikabala was emotional and Fahmy responded to what he said, causing a crisis, but the assistants contained the matter, amid the interference of Amir Mortada Mansour, the football supervisor of the Zamalek Club.
