Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo led the campaign to break the “health bubble” set up by the Italian club Juventus, which forced players to stay in a hotel near the club’s training center, which could not be left under any circumstances, to prevent the spread of the emerging coronavirus.

Juventus took this measure, after two of its employees were infected with the new Corona virus, which imposed the establishment of a “bubble” that prevents players from communicating with anyone inside the hotel.

And according to the Italian newspaper “La Gazzetta del Lausport”, Ronaldo refused to stay in the hotel for several days, because that would have prevented him from traveling to play his country’s friendly against Spain.

Juventus players underwent two tests for the emerging coronavirus, which came back negative, but according to Italian health protocol, a third “swab” was required before the players were allowed out of isolation.

The Italian newspaper added that Ronaldo yelled in the faces of the club’s leaders during the presence of his teammates, and decided to leave the hotel and return home, where he spent a night with his family, before traveling to join the Portuguese camp at the next day.

“La Gazzetta del Losport” went on to say that several Juventus players left isolation after Ronaldo’s behavior, including Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, Daniilo, Rodrigo Bentancur and Mareh Demiral, who joined the camps of their teams , while veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon returned home.
