«Al-Masry Al-Youm» reveals the final route of the express train «Sokhna – the administrative capital – El Alamein»

Informed sources from the Ministry of Transport revealed that there is more than one scenario for the implementation of the project, the first (the old one), and it will be built in 3 stages, the first from “Ain Sokhna – the Administrative Capital”, the second from “La Administrative Capital – October “and the third” October – Nuevo Alamein “.

The sources added that Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir has completed a new scenario, which is to start the implementation of the project in its entirety, and divide the civil works of the project between 5 Egyptian companies that can be increased to accelerate the completion of the project. With civil works and an increase in the number of Egyptian companies in civil works, which meant the completion of around 70% of them in less than a year.

On the other hand, sources from the alliance that technically won the project revealed that the Chinese government showed great flexibility in financing the project, as it decided to inject $ 2 billion in investments into the project, and that the alliance is communicating with the Chinese government to provide a Chinese soft loan for railway works and signals.

The sources noted that China has finally agreed to manufacture trains for the project at the Nirac plant, to be installed in East Port Said, with up to 40% local Egyptian component, while giving Egypt the right to know the trains. , with all the guarantees and operational certificates internationally approved to enter Egypt at the High-Speed ​​Trains Forum.
