Farag Amer, president of Smouha, confirmed that the Alexandrian club had presented an official complaint to the Egyptian Football Association against Zamalek because of Imam Ashour, a player of the white team.
Smouha met Zamalek in the last 16 of the Egyptian Cup on Monday, and the Alexandrian team deposited the championship after losing 2-1 at the Ismailia Stadium.
Smouha decided to make an official complaint to the Football Association for the participation of Imam Ashour, the Zamalek player, in the match due to his suspension by Al-Jabaliya in the context of the events of the Zamalek and Al-Masry match in the Matchday 31 of the Egyptian We League championship, which the white team decided in their favor with an unanswered goal.
Amer wrote through his official account on the social network “Facebook”: “Smouha presented an official complaint to the Football Association objecting to the participation of the Zamalek player Imam Ashour, who issued the decision to suspend a match and participated in the match Smouha and scored a goal. “
He added that “Smouha will not back down from the complaint, and will be escalated to the highest degree, in order to preserve our rights and without prejudice to anyone and without the slightest abuse.”
A source from the Football Association confirmed in exclusive statements to Masrawi that the Disciplinary Committee intends to detain Ferjani Sassi for 6 matches, and Imam Ashour (one match), confirming that their participation in Smouha’s match is legal.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian Football Association has not yet officially issued its sanctions regarding the events of the Zamalek and Al-Masry matches.
