The Discipline and Ethics Committee of the Egyptian Football Association officially issued the sanction for the Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, Zamalek player, in the context of the events of the Egyptian match between Port Said in the Premier League championship.
The committee decided to suspend Sassi’s 6 games and a fine of 100,000 pounds, starting from the next game in which he was sent off against Al-Masry, for what happened during it, as detailed in the reports of referees and observers of that game .
The Tunisian international had vehemently opposed the sentence for not counting the errors in his favor, and then Sassi’s anger continued until he removed the stethoscope from Amine Omar’s ear, who did not hesitate to give him a red card after that.
