The Kuwaiti government presents its resignation to the Emir of the country … and Sheikh Nawwaf rejects it

On Tuesday, the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, revealed that the Kuwaiti government has submitted its resignation to the country’s Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, but asked him to continue his work.

According to the Kuwaiti agency, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left the resignation of the government to the emir of Kuwait, but he praised the government for carrying out its functions to the fullest.

The Emir of Kuwait affirmed his confidence in the current government to continue with its tasks and complete the preparations for the next legislative elections.

On the other hand, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, stated that the eternal saga of the October War, during which the Egyptian armed forces dominated, witnessed the mixing of Kuwaiti blood and Egyptian, and clearly embodied the fraternal, historical and solid ties between the two sister countries.

This came during a congratulatory telegram sent by the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, on the occasion of the anniversary of the October 6 victories.

During the telegram, the Emir of Kuwait expressed his sincere congratulations on the occasion of the forty-seventh anniversary of the glorious victories in the Sixth October War, wishing President El-Sisi continued health and well-being, and Brother Egypt and his honorable people all progress and prosperity.

In the same context, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, sent a similar cable of congratulations to President Al-Sisi.
