The National Electoral Authority headed by Counselor Lashin Ibrahim, Vice President of the Court of Cassation, officially announced the final list of candidates for the elections to the House of Representatives, after completing the review of all the judgments issued by the Supreme Administrative Court of the Council of State.
The National Electoral Authority has set October 7 as the last date for candidates to surrender to each other and then publish the concessions in two widely circulated newspapers on October 8.
It should be noted that the election process is taking place in the first stage in the 14 governorates of the individual system, namely Giza, Fayum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, New Valley, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea, Alexandria, Beheira, Matrouh.
In the list system, elections are held in the first phase for the second district to the north, center and south of Upper Egypt, which is located in the Giza Security Directorate, which includes 11 governorates (Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, New Valley, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan and the Red Sea). It was allocated 100 seats, as well as in the fourth district, the Western Delta sector, located in the Alexandria Security Directorate, which includes 3 governorates (Alexandria, Beheira, Matrouh), and 42 seats were allocated.
And it is that during October 21, 22 and 23 abroad, and on October 24 and 25 inside, and in case this phase is repeated, elections will be held on October 21, 22 and 23 November abroad, and November 23 and 24 indoors.
The second stage of the elections to the House of Representatives will take place in the individual system in 13 governorates, namely Cairo, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Dakahlia, Gharbia, Kafr El Sheikh, Sharkia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai and South Sinai.
In the list system for the second phase, elections are held in the first district, which is located in the Cairo sector, the southern and central district, and is located in the Cairo Security Directorate, and It includes 6 governorates (Cairo, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, Menoufia, Gharbia, Kafr El Sheikh), and they have been allocated 100 seats, as well as in the third district. The Eastern Delta Sector Department, located in the Sharqia Security Directorate, includes 7 governorates (Sharkia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, South Sinai) and has allocated 42 seats.
And it is that during the days 4, 5 and 6 of November abroad, and on 7 and 8 of November in the interior, and in case this phase is repeated, elections will be held on December 5, 6 and 7 abroad, and on December 7 and 8 indoors.
