Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, sent a message to the fans of the White Club after the decision of the Olympic Committee to stop it, saying during her statements to the club’s channel: “I warn the fans of Zamalek not to go out on the streets. Egypt it’s more important than Mortada. ” And he continued: “I fear that terrorist elements will be inserted when masses descend. Zamalek, support me in the streets”, and Mortada Mansour finished their speech: “The support for Zamalek’s fans is only through social networks, not in the streets, and I repeat Egypt above all ”.
Zamalek club president Dr. Ashraf Sobhi asked the Minister of Youth and Sports to take a decisive stance in front of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
He said: “The Minister of Sports must take a decisive position in relation to what is happening, because he is a respectable person who does not have a bad head,” and pointed out that he knows very well that the Minister of Sports will make the right decision because he knows that the Decision made by the Egyptian Olympic Committee is illegal.
He continued: “Egypt is more important than Murtado Mansour. I thank all the Zamalek and Al-Ahlya who supported me, but I refuse to let anyone take to the streets.” She added: “For the first time in history, a crowd loves their president like the Zamalek fans love Mortada Mansour.”
Mortada Mansour blamed the heads of the Egyptian clubs, saying: “I blame the heads of the board of directors of the clubs, and I never leave them when they are in crisis.” The president of Zamalek expressed his strong discontent with Faraj Amer, the chairman of the Smouha board, threatening him.
Sherif Al-Erian, general secretary of the Olympic Committee, confirmed that the decision of the committee does not concern the Zamalek club and does not affect the Zamalek club, but is against a single person, who is the president of the club.
Sherif Al-Erian said in televised remarks: “The committee’s decision does not concern the Zamalek club, but the decision is against a person who misbehaved in many matters, but the Zamalek club has nothing to do with the matter. He committee has all the respect for him as a large entity in Egypt. “
And he added: “The Zamalek club and its fans and players are in our heads from above, but it does not stir one day, for example. And he continued: “No one is above the law, and whoever makes mistakes will be responsible.”
And he continued: “Certainly the complaints presented by the Zamalek club will be considered as others, and will be dealt with with the same procedures, and if we think they deserve escalation and sanction, we will do that.”
He concluded his speech by saying: “The Ministry of Youth and Sports is in charge of implementing the sanction of the President of the Zamalek Club, because it is the administrative body responsible for the implementation, and Murtaza Mansour has the right to resort to justice.”
