The Spanish club Sevilla has become the center of attention of the Moroccan public, after the Andalusian club has four Moroccan players.
Sevilla today signed the Moroccan Osama Idrissi from the Dutch team Alkmaar, to be the fourth Moroccan of the team, after the presence of Yassin Bono, Youssef Al-Nassiri and Munir Al-Haddadi.
Idrissi appeared in 98 appearances for Alkmaar, during which he scored 37 goals, and scored 25 goals after signing for the Dutch club in 2018 from Groningen for € 2 million.
Osama Idrissi has Dutch nationality, but chose to represent the Moroccan team and joined their ranks for the first time last year, where he played 7 international matches with the Atlas Lions and was among the Moroccan team in the last organized African Nations Championship for Egypt.
The daily “Desmarke”, close to Sevilla, said that the agreement to sign for Idrissi amounted to about 15 million euros, since his contract with the Dutch club expires in June 2022.
Sevilla is one of the most prominent clubs in Spain and represents the Andalusia region, and is the club that won the most in the European League, which it achieved six times, the last one in the last edition.
And the Andalusian team managed to impose a positive draw on their host Barcelona yesterday, with a goal, on the fifth day of the Spanish League.
