(Masrawy):
The businessman Naguib Sawiris demanded, in 3 tweets through his Twitter account, to open restaurants all day and cut the water and electricity to the buildings whose fronts are still made of red bricks.
Captioned “Thoughts from Friday,” Sawiris tweeted, saying, “Can we open restaurants and venues?
In the second post, he said: “A decision must be made to prevent window-type air conditioners on building facades … from deforming all old buildings?”
Regarding the third tweet, it went as follows: “Is it possible that a decision will be made to avoid supplying water and electricity to buildings whose facades are not whitewashed, and I will show them in red bricks, a sight unacceptable only for us ? “
In January 2019, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi asked to unify the paint color of the facades of real estate, to suit the civilized form of Egypt.
In the same context, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, directed the governors to develop an implementation plan that includes a schedule for the painting of the facades and sides of the buildings, and that the owners of the buildings finish to paint the four facades within a period of no more than three months, provided that the necessary measures are taken. Immediately disconnect public services, including electricity and water, from buildings whose owners do not finish painting their facades, once the prescribed period has expired.
