Betso Mosimane, the Al-Ahly club’s new first team coach, took his first steps with the red giant, while leading the first training session with the team on Friday.

Betso Musimani held a session with Sayed Abdel Hafeez, football director, Sami Shirts, team coach, and Musa Matlaba, performance analyst, on the sidelines of the first training session under his leadership.

Musimani wanted to have a session with his auxiliary apparatus to discuss some general lines about the next stage and the difficult challenges at the local and African level.

Club Al-Ahly players attended a first training session under the leadership of South African coach Pitso Mosimane on Friday night at the island’s Mukhtar Altech stadium, as part of preparations to face the Arab contractors.

Al-Ahly’s board of directors, chaired by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, had decided to end its contractual relationship with Swiss coach Rene Fyler, and some members of his auxiliary apparatus, provided that Betso Mosimani took over the task in his place after having contracted with him for two seasons.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face the Arab contractors in the match scheduled for next Sunday in the framework of the matches of the thirty-first round of the Premier League competition, in which the red giant is officially crowned.
