Books – Masrawy Correspondent:
The match between Zamalek and Al-Masry saw clashes between the players after the final whistle.
The Al-Masry players turned to Imam Ashour after the end of the match, due to their anger at what they described as the provocations of the Zamalek player, as described by the Al-Masry players to a Masrawy correspondent in the match stadium.
The clashes continued into the corridor that leads to the changing rooms, where a large number of policemen were present to investigate what happened and separate the players from the two teams.
A correspondent for Masrawy at the match stadium stated that several Al-Masry players attacked the photographers inside the match stadium and threatened them with breaking cameras in case the images were not scanned during the altercation, after they documented the details of what happened after the final whistle, before security intervened.
And it was decided to cancel the post-match press conference.
The Interior Forces demanded that the Al-Masry players leave, and the Zamalek players were asked to wait in the changing rooms to avoid further clashes.
Muhammad Abu Jabal, the Zamalek guard, also went to apologize to one of the security personnel while they were in the locker room, noting that his altercation with a security member was unintentional.
