A huge shock was received by the Manchester City fans after their team fell 5-2 at their Al-Ittihad stadium yesterday to guest Leicester City in the third round of Premier League matches.
Despite City’s strong start and fourth-minute goal through Algerian wing Riyad Mahrez, the team conceded four consecutive goals, including a hat-trick from England star Jimmy Vardy.
The five-point loss to Leicester Fennecs exposed the defensive problems of Pep Guardiola’s side, who lost by five goals for the first time in his career as a manager.

In the 2016/2017 season, Pep Guardiola’s first season as head coach of the heavenly team, the team signed John Stones from Everton in exchange for £ 50m and left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko, the Russian Ufa player, for 2 million pounds.
Guardiola’s second season with City (2017-2018) The team signed a back support contract with Emeric LaPorte (Athletic Bilbao), Benjamin Mendy (Monaco), Kyle Walker (Tottenham) and Danilo (Real Madrid), and the cost of these agreements amounted to 183 million pounds.
And in the 2018/2019 season, Manchester City signed Philip Sandler (PEC Zwolle, Netherlands) for £ 2 million, then he was loaned out to the Belgian club.
Last season, City included duo Joao Cancelo (Juventus) and Angelino (PS Eindhoven) at almost 63 million pounds.
