The Ministry of Local Development has issued a new directive to governors regarding the Building Violation Reconciliation Act.
A statement from the ministry said that in the framework of the decision of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, to extend the deadline for reconciliation in building violations, from September 30 to October 30, 2020, and the decision of the Prime Minister to agree to pay the severity of reconciliation at a rate of 25% of the value of the violation, in addition to The rules for calculating the proportion of 25%. Governors should warn the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods that they continue to receive requests for reconciliation in the construction of violations from citizens, and facilitate them, in addition to accepting all requests for reconciliation, even if reconciliation is not allowed according to the law, and not express an opinion on any request for conciliation and leave technical matters to the committees formed for the same purpose.
The ministry added that affected employees had received a number of complaints, stating that citizen documents and reconciliation requests were not accepted by affected employees and that Form 3 was not granted.
The ministry instructed the governors to affirm that the employees in question must accept applications and documents from citizens who wish to reconcile, attach a copy of the card only and any document that proves the applicant’s relationship with the property that is the object of the application, granting the applicant a period of two months to complete the data and documents, in addition to delivering a form to the conciliation applicant. 3 ”, as long as the advance and the payment of the fee, serious reconciliation.
