Nigerian Michael Inramo, former Esperance forward, commented on his goal in the Al-Ahly match, which came in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals with the 2010 edition.
Enramo said in a video statement published during his interview with the Tunisian newspaper “Foot 24”: “My goal in Al-Ahly came in the head. The center came from Khaled Al-Qirbi, and thank God I managed to reach the ball and mark it with your head. “
He continued: “Al-Ahly in the first leg was able to beat us by winning two goals against a single goal, and Al-Ahly’s goal came hand in hand.”
He continued: “Al-Ahly during this period had a strong team, but in the second leg we knew the difficulty of the match and it was necessary to win, thank God, in the end we won the match.”
He finished: “Al-Qirbi’s center was far from me, but she was able to score the goal with her header, so the goal came before the referee who decided to count it.”
This match witnessed controversial refereeing after Michael Enramua scored a goal that came by hand, but the match referee counted the goal for Esperance to qualify for the African Champions League final.
And Mazembe was able to crown the title of this version after winning the first leg in Congo with five unanswered goals, and then the second leg ended with a goal for each team.
