Demonstrations broke out in several Egyptian provinces today, after prayers on Friday, to denounce Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and poor living conditions.
These demonstrations come in response to calls from Egyptian activists, particularly the artist and former Egyptian army contractor, Muhammad Ali, and have continued in various Egyptian governorates since last Sunday.
In Giza governorate, demonstrations took place in several villages, including Al-Atf, Kafr Qandil, Al-Kadaya, Umm Dinar, Al-Ayyat, Al-Mansouriya in Al-Haram and the Sixth of October City.
New governorates joined the ongoing movement for 6 days, including Damietta, which witnessed demonstrations in the center of Mit Abu Ghaleb, Qarat Shata and Kafr Saad.
In Minya, a demonstration was held in Mallawi, Bani Mazar and Tala, raising the same slogans and denouncing the closure of factories and the deterioration of economic conditions in the country.
The public squares in the different governorates, especially Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and Suez, are witnessing strong security reinforcements in anticipation of the arrival of any meeting there.
The protesters demanded the departure of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, denouncing the practices of his regime, which led to the deterioration of the living conditions of millions of Egyptians.
The protesters chanted slogans against Sisi, which included “One of two … Where is the Egyptian army?”, “In a transversal sense, we will respond to the earth”, “There is no god but God … and Sisi is the enemy of God “,” Let yourself be a loser “and” Go away, Balha “. , “The saying of Mtkhafshei … Sisi must walk”, and “Get out of your houses, Sisi killed your children”, and others.
The protesters expressed their outrage and total rejection of the practices of the ruling regime, especially the imposition of the Reconciliation Law for violations of construction, whose application sparked widespread anger in the country.

The security forces tried to disperse the demonstration in the village of “Umm Dinar” in Giza with pellets and tear gas, and arrested several protesters, according to the accounts of some eyewitnesses.
Footage from the Mit Abu Ghaleb center in Damietta showed that security forces responded to the demonstrations with tear gas and pellets.
Observers believe that if the demonstrations continue and intensify, they may have an impact on Egypt’s political future.
