Al-Dustour obtained a photograph of the three defendants in the case of gang rape of a girl, known in the media as the “Vermont Case”, which arrived in Egypt on Thursday after being handed over by Interpol police to deportees via Cairo airport.
The three defendants are: Ahmed Helmy Tolan, son of the former soccer player, and current Enppi Club coach, Amr Hussein Mahmoud Ismail and his brother Khaled Hussein Mahmoud Ismail.

The Lebanese News Agency revealed that on 08/27/2020, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces received a letter from the Interpol office in Egypt, which includes the names of seven people of Egyptian nationality, who are in the Lebanon, accused of raping a girl during 2014 in a hotel in Cairo. Recently, a video of the incident was sent to the Egyptian judiciary.
The order was immediately given to carry out the necessary investigations and investigations, and the specialized sectors of the Information Division began their procedures, so it was clear that five of seven had entered Lebanon on previous dates, then two of them left, reason why the number was installed in three suspects, within the Lebanese territory. They are: Ahmed Tulan (born 1988), Amr Ismail (born 1990) and his brother Khaled (born 1987).
It was also found that those mentioned had left the hotels where they were guests, leaving their suitcases inside the rooms.
Through monitoring, their whereabouts were determined in the town of Fatqa, where a force from the Division raided the place on the night of 08/28/2020 and managed to arrest them, based on the discriminatory signal from the Public Ministry.
