The Giza Potable Water and Sewerage Company announced that the water was cut off in the downtown areas of Abu Al Nimros and its villages: (Tamouh – Shabramant – Zawyet Abu Musalam – Al Harrania – Beni Suef – Nazlet Al Ashter – Shiha Manial).
The company added today in a statement that the service is cut from 6 pm on Friday 9/25/2020 to 6 am on Saturday 9/26/2020, for urgent maintenance work at the Abu Al-Nimros water station , and the main ejection line of Al-Akra, diameter 900 mm will be changed. 8 meter long steel to wear.
In a related context, the Giza Potable Water and Sewerage Company said that because the Greater Cairo Reconstruction Authority is carrying out works to convert two potable water lines with diameters of 500 mm and 300 mm that prevent the implementation of the shaft of the Zumur Canal under the Nahia Bridge and the connection to an existing water line of 800 mm within The national projects being implemented in the Giza governorate, resulting in the water cut in the areas of (Bulaq Dakrour – Ard El Lewa) for a period of 8 hours.
The company added that this will start from 10:00 p.m. on Friday 9/25/2020 until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday 9/26/2020.
The company called on bakery and hospital owners to cover their water needs during the mentioned period.
