Luis Suárez left the Barcelona club headquarters crying on Wednesday after confirming his departure to Atlético de Madrid.
The Marca newspaper published images of Suárez leaving the Barcelona training headquarters in tears.
The report said the Uruguayan forward said goodbye to his teammates before moving to Atlético de Madrid, which is expected to be officially announced in a few hours.
Atlético de Madrid reached an agreement with Barcelona to include Uruguayan Luis Suárez.
According to the Spanish radio station “Cadena Ser”, the player will be transferred for an undisclosed amount after the 33-year-old forward agreed to join the rojiblancos.
Barcelona had initially rejected his transfer to Atlético, being a direct rival in the Spanish League and at the European level.
Suárez will join in to make up for the departure of Spaniard Álvaro Morata, who moved to Juventus.

Suárez, 33, has played for Barcelona since 2014, after moving to Barcelona from Liverpool for 82 million euros.
