Although Roma’s match with Hellas Verona in the first round of the Italian League ended in a goalless draw, a management error caused the wolves of the Italian capital to lose the match and score 3-0 in favor of the Hellas Verona.
The Italian League decided to count Roma 3-0, losing in the match after the participation of Guinean Amadou Diora in the match as a minor, although he turned 23 last July.
Roma’s error was caused by the Banatilo Luongo team management when recording the player’s data for the match.
It is interesting that Luongo today presented his resignation to the Roma team to move to the administrative body of Hellas Verona, which benefited from his error in the result of the match in the first round of “Serie A”, as revealed by the channel “Sport Italy”.
Roma filed an appeal against the decision of the Italian Federation, stating that the administrative error did not cause changes in the result of the match.
The laws of the Italian Football Association stipulate that the clubs of all players over the age of 22 must be registered on a list of 25 players and sent to them before the start of the season in preparation for their participation in the league.
The results of the matches played so far in the first round of the Italian League were as follows:
Verontina 1: Turin 0
Parma 0: Naples 2
Genoa 4: Critical 1
Sassuolo 1: Cagliari 1
Juventus 3: Sampdoria 0
Milan 2: Bologna 0
The following matches remain from the first round:
