The minister referred to the Director General of the World Health Organization and praised Egypt’s position on engaging in clinical and clinical research for the emerging corona virus vaccine.
The minister explained that Egypt is actively participating in the international “solidarity” clinical trial launched by the World Health Organization with the aim of helping to find a successful treatment for the Covid 19 disease, and to achieve rapid results on which drugs delay the disease progression or improve the chances of survival, he noted. He noted that the “Solidarity” experience is based on a comparison of treatment experiences, levels of care, and evaluation of the efficacy of Covid 19 treatment through the participation of patients from various countries.
The Minister of Health and Population also confirmed that the application of social distancing rules continues to be an important and effective guarantee to reduce the risk of contagion by the emerging coronavirus, since the rate of disease outbreaks continues to increase in meeting places. , those with poor ventilation and with a decrease in the bet on masks.
