Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, revealed the new file of the new foreign coach, referring to “Sunday’s announcement”.
Mortada Mansour said: “The announcement of the new coach will be on Sunday.”
He added in his statements on Zamalek TV, “Gros did not apologize, but when he told me that he wanted the contract to be for two months in addition to receiving his previous salary, I knew that he did not want to come for the African Championship, but for money, and in that moment I said “Thank you”.
He continued: “When I said ‘thank you’, he talked about an eye operation and all that.”

And about the new coach, Mortada said: “We agreed with a very, very great coach who is loved by the fans.”
He went on to say: “The coach is now consulting with his assistant and is expected to finally reply to us on Sunday. He asked for the team roster and he consulted with his assistant and he agreed in principle and we are awaiting the final answer.”
He noted: “If he agrees, we will sign the contracts and he will come to Egypt to lead the team, and if not, the alternative is ready.”
He explained: “We have agreed with another coach who has a great resume, and he will be the coach in case the first coach disagrees.”
