Serbian coach Milutin Seridovic “Micho”, a Zambian coach, revealed the reasons for his visit to Egypt on Saturday.

Micho told FilGoal.com: “I am coming to Egypt today to travel with the delegation of the Zambian youth team under 15, who are traveling to Croatia to play an international friendly tournament.”

The former Zamalek coach said: “I decided to travel with the national team because I am the coach of the first team and I supervise all the Zambian national teams and also to support the players.”

Micho’s visit to Egypt sparked controversy on social media sites, with Zamalek seeking a new technical director to succeed Patrice Carteron, who left to train for the Saudi aid.

Zamalek officials are trying to resolve the manager’s file as quickly as possible to allow more time in front of him before the expected clash with Morocco’s Raja Casablanca in the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Micho led Zamalek in 13 games in all tournaments at the start of the current season. The White Knight won 8 times, tied once and lost 4 times..

Micho lifted the Egypt Cup title with Zamalek after defeating Pyramids by three for nothing, while losing the Super title to Al-Ahly.
