The Cairo Criminal Court ruled that the two sons of art producer Ahmed El-Sobky Karim and Khaled were sentenced to 15 years in prison for drug possession and a fine of £ 50,000 each and forfeiture of the seizures. The sentence was passed under the direction of counselor Mohamed Mostafa El-Fiqi and the membership of counselors Mahmoud Rashlamdan and Abdullah.
The Public Ministry sent the two defendants to criminal trial and released them on bail of 10,000 pounds each pending a case accusing them of possession of narcotic substances.
The security services arrested Al-Sobky’s two sons after the wedding of artist Ahmed Fahmy and the actress here Zahid, as director Karim Al-Sobky and his brother Khaled were among the guests, and an ambush of security near the wedding area, specifically in the Qasr al-Nil area of Cairo where the wedding ceremony took place and the car that was searched. They were traveling and stumbled upon several rolls of heroin.
