Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, revealed the presence of the trio Christian Gross, Jimmy Pacheco and Josvaldo Ferreira in the list of candidates to coach the team.
Mortada Mansour said: “Gross, Ferreira, Pacheco and Calderón are the candidates to form Zamalek.”
“The four coaches have already agreed to train Zamalek and are now talking about their assistive devices,” he added in his remarks about TEN and Zamalek.
The president of Zamalek continued: “The announcement of the name of the new Zamalek Club coach will be one of the next Saturday or Sunday.”
“The new coach will not be Egyptian, and that’s for sure,” he stressed.
He explained: “Experience has shown me that the failure factors of the Egyptian coach are higher than those of the foreigner, and the public supports anything from the foreign coach, unlike the Egyptian.”
Mortada Mansour attacked former French coach Patrice Carteron, accusing him of “fleeing the Zamalek.”
Mortada stated: “Carteron, the traitor, the quorum, did not pay a penny of the penalty clause.”
“Carteron fled Zamalek, and we didn’t get a penny from the penalty clause,” he said.
French coach Carteron left Zamalek after informing the club’s management of his wish not to continue with the team (See details).
