A source revealed that the Al-Ahly club had reached an agreement with Raja officials to join defender Badr Bannon during the transfers this summer.
The source added, in remarks via “Yallakora” on Thursday, that Al-Ahly terminated their agreement with Raja to join the 26-year-old Casablanca team defender.
The source – who preferred not to be named – explained that what remains is for only the player to finish the matches of the African Champions League, which will be completed next month.
The source also noted that the Al-Ahly administration made an offer to Raja by including a foreigner from the Red Team in the deal.
And Moroccan press reports previously revealed that the Al-Ahly administration reached a deal to include the Moroccan defender in exchange for $ 2 million, please.
The Moroccan player plans to sign a three-year contract in exchange for an annual salary estimated at one million dollars, according to reports in the Moroccan press.
Bannon is considered one of the main pillars of Raja, having participated in 19 games this season, scoring three goals, specifically in the CAF Champions League competition.
Bannon managed to lead Raja to the semi-finals of the African Champions League competition, where the Moroccan champion will face his counterpart Zamalek next month.
It should be noted that Al-Ahly has five foreigners on its current list, starting with the Tunisian Ali Maaloul, the Nigerian Junior Ajay, the Angolan Giraldo, the Mali Aliu Diang and the Senegalese Alliou Badji, in addition to the Moroccan red team Walid Azaro, who returned from his loan from the ranks of the Saudi settlement.
