“YouTuber” Ahmed Hassan and Zainab set aside 24 hours for investigations … and the couple: “Our daughter’s videos don’t take money”

The Prosecutor’s Office ordered the detention of youtuber Ahmed Hassan and his wife for 24 hours for investigating the report presented against them by the National Council for Childhood and Maternity, for intimidating their little daughter, “Eileen”, and exploiting her to profit of the publication of offensive videos.

Husbands Ahmed Hassan and Zainab denied the accusations against them in the communication of human trafficking and Zainab said he was playing with their daughter.

The mother added in the investigations that the purpose of the video is to reproduce and not to profit, because the videos they publish on their private channel bring millions of views, unlike the videos made with her daughter, Eileen.

The Prosecutor’s Office heard the statements of the social worker of the Child Rescue Line, who confirmed in the investigations that the Monitoring Unit and Social Networks of the 16000 Minor Attention Line monitored the incident after it circulated on social networks, then that they published a video on YouTube in which the mother appeared after changing her skin color to play a prank on the child. Which caused panic and terror in itself, as well as enraging many of the pioneers of social networking sites.

Dr. Sahar Al-Sunbati, Secretary General of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, said in an official statement that as soon as the video was monitored, he went to the Office of Child Protection of the Office of the Counsel to the Attorney General to open a judicial investigation into the incident.

He added that there was a previous report against him last year, noting that an investigation of the previous events was requested, in addition to the new report and the accusation of trafficking in persons, according to article 291 of the Penal Code and Law 64 of 2010 against human trafficking.

Al-Sunbati confirmed that these events are a violation of the law and a violation of the rights of the child, and there is no justification for exploiting the innocent child in this way, and posting videos of events that include child abuse, as it is a violation of article 80 of the Egyptian Constitution, and also a violation of article 96 of the Egyptian Child Law, which These include situations that endanger the child and threaten the safety of the upbringing that must be available to the child. For neglect, abuse, violence, exploitation or neglect ”. It is also a violation of article 291 of the Penal Code, which prohibits the violation of the child’s right to be the object of trafficking or sexual, commercial or economic exploitation.

And he stressed that the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood will take all necessary measures against any violation against children.
