The Zamalek board of directors decided to appoint Tariq Yahya, the club’s youth director, to the position of technical director temporarily, succeeding Patrice Carteron, who informed them of his wish to leave.
So what are the scenes?
According to FilGoal.com, the new Zamalek manager was surprised by Carteron’s decision to leave the club, especially if it came unexpectedly.
While Tariq Yahya was at the club to start his work in the youth sector, he was summoned by the board of directors and informed of his appointment as the team’s interim manager until the contract with a new foreign manager.
Tariq Yahya was nothing but approval, especially since Zamalek plays a lot of games in a short period.
Tariq Yahya doesn’t intend to make major changes to the way the team, which Carteron relied on, played on, especially since it’s hard to do midseason.
Tariq Yahya intends to focus on the psychological factor with the players during the next period.
Zamalek is preparing to face Aswan next Friday in the 28th round of the league.
This is not the first time that Tariq Yahya will manage Zamalek from the coach’s seat, having previously led the team in 2017.
After that, he took over as assistant coach on Nebusha Jovovich’s coaching staff.
Tariq Yahya had technically led Zamalek with Ayman Abdel Aziz during the current season after Micho’s departure and before Carteron’s arrival.
FilGoal.com previously revealed the appointment of Medhat Abdel Hadi as general coach and Ayman Abdel Aziz as coach.
In addition to keeping Amir Abdulaziz on the coaching staff after working at the Carteron Group.
