Al-Sisi issues a decree modifying “real estate regulation”, “contracts” and “electricity”

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi issued, on Tuesday, Law No. 186 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of Law No. 114 of 1946 that organizes the real estate registry.

The law, which was approved by the Chamber of Deputies, included the addition of a new article number (35 bis) and the article included a new way of transferring property, and that when there is a final ruling that supports the application of the month , certify the creation, transfer or determination of one of the original real rights, or To change it, the secretary of the office is required to give a temporary number for a month or an entry in a special registry so that each of them is counted for that after payment of the prescribed fee, and the temporary number becomes a final number, and has implications for the month of the document or its registration, when there is no objection or refusal to object.

The added article made it possible to challenge the issuance of the temporary number before the temporary judge within a period of one month from the date of its publication in one of the widely distributed newspapers by the interested party, provided that the judge issued a reasoned decision accepting the objection and canceling the number or rejecting the objection within seven days from the date the objection was presented to you. With the supporting documents, and the decision issued in this regard is firm, and thus a new door is opened to register the property, the final provisions are applied and their validity is respected.

The article obliges the electricity, water and gas companies and other companies, agencies, ministries and government departments not to assign facilities and services, nor to take any action by the interested party related to the property, except after presenting the document with the number of the month or the record that ensures the continuation of the transfer of the legally declared property.

President Al-Sisi also issued Law No. 187 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the law that regulates contracts entered into by public authorities promulgated by Law No. 182 of 2018, and the law, which was approved by the Chamber of Representatives, aims to dissuade evaders from paying taxes and customs duties, so that the administrative authorities are not subject to In accordance with the provisions of the law, serve those against whom a final judgment was issued in any of these crimes , either in person or in their capacity as legal representative of any of the legal persons who wish to deal with the administrative body, unless it is rehabilitated.

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi also issued Law No. 189 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Penal Code promulgated by Law No. 58 of 1937, after the approval of the House of Representatives.

President El-Sisi also issued Law No. 190 of 2020 that establishes the endowments for the Catholic Church and the Evangelical Community, after the House of Representatives approved the law.

Law No. 191 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Civil and Commercial Procedure Law promulgated by Law No. 13 of 1968 was also issued by President Al-Sisi, Law No. 192 of 2020 that modifies some provisions of the Electricity Law promulgated by Law No. 87 of 2015 after the approval of the House of Representatives.
