Councilor Nader Saad, spokesman for the Council of Ministers, denied what was raised in several social networking sites about the closure of cafes and coffee shops as one of the precautionary measures, and said that it is a rumor that has no basis in the truth and was not raised first.
“Saad” added: In a telephone interview with Amr Khalil, the journalist, in the program “From Egypt” broadcast by the satellite channel “CBC”, the decision was not raised in the first place in the Council of Ministers, and it is a rumor which has absolutely no validity.
He added that “any citizen can make sure of this by going to the announced dates of the cafes, and will find that they are open and functioning normally, with the application of precautionary measures.”
Some of the pioneers of social networking sites had circulated tweets stating that the Cabinet had announced the closure of cafes and cafes for the next period as one of the measures to prevent Coronavirus, and the closure of cafes was denied by the Cabinet spokesperson.
