Hafeez Blayli, father of Algerian Youssef Blayli, said the Ahly Jeddah club, which owns his son’s contract, has withdrawn from selling it to Egypt’s Al-Ahly.
The Algerian international wing has joined the Al-Ahly club to support the ranks in the upcoming transfer period.
Hafeez Blayli added in televised remarks that Egypt’s Al-Ahly entered into negotiations with Al-Ahly Jeddah, but the latter changed his mind.
Blailey’s father confirmed that his son wants to continue with the people of Jeddah, and that what has been reported about his abstinence from the team is due to the failure of his return due to the circumstances of the new Corona virus.
Youssef Blayli’s father and his agent indicated, in a previous statement, that their son received 3 offers from Egyptian clubs, in addition to an offer from Esperance Tunisia, to join one of them during the summer transfer period, which indicates that the player does not mind playing for Al-Ahly and that financial issues settle the deal.
An official source within the Al-Ahly club previously revealed that the Youssef Blailey deal was just a communication from some agents, emphasizing that there is no decision regarding starting official negotiations with the Algerian.
Al-Ahly has 5 foreign players: the Senegalese Alio Badji, Mali Aliou Diang, the Angolan Geraldo, the Tunisian Ali Maaloul, the Nigerian Junior Ajay, in addition to the Moroccan Walid Azzaro.
The regulations stipulate the registration of 4 foreigners in the list of local teams of the Premier League, in addition to another player from North Africa, Syria or Palestine.
