In news that may be shocking for Barcelona fans, it appears that Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martínez is heading to Real Madrid.
The Italian chain “Sport Medias” assured that Real Madrid had reached an agreement to join the 23-year-old Argentine international striker, worth 100 million euros.
The Argentine international was a Barcelona goal for a long time, so the Spanish club negotiated with its Italian counterpart, but did not reach an agreement in the end on the value of the player.
The chain claimed that Real Madrid achieved what Barcelona did not achieve and reached an agreement with Inter to include the player.
The chain indicated that the agreement can be converted into a payment of 50-60 million euros, in addition to granting Ashraf Hakimi to Inter for free and not obtaining a material price for the player.
Hakimi, the Moroccan international, came to Inter this summer from Real Madrid for 40 million euros.
Inter can use Laotaro’s money to sign Chelsea player Ngolo Kante, whose services Inter manager Antonio Conte desperately wants and the London club is demanding € 50m for him.
The report indicates that Real Madrid has already reached an agreement also with the player and will receive 8 million euros per season.
And if the report is correct, the player’s personal contract and salary will be 2 million euros less than what Barcelona agreed to in the past.
Lautaro joined Inter from Racing Club in the summer of 2018, with a sum of 25 million euros, and his current contract runs until the summer of 2023.
