The Moroccan daily Al-Sabah said that the African Football Confederation (CAF) has chosen Bakary Jasama and Pamlak Tessima to lead the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
And you wrote that the Gambian Jasama will lead the Wydad and Al-Ahly party, while Tessima will lead the Ethiopian party between Raja and Zamalek.
Morocco will host the first leg of the semi-finals on October 16 and 17, with the return leg taking place a week later in Egypt.
Jasama has led 10 previous matches for Al-Ahly, the latter winning 4 of them and losing 3 times, most notably the 2013 African Super Cup, when the red team defeated the Congolese Leopar.
While Tissima managed two games for Zamalek, which were won by the Whites, among which the second leg of the last season of the Confederation stands out, when the latter defeated the rebirth of Berkane of Morocco on penalties.
The semifinals were scheduled for the end of this month of September, but the increase in coronavirus cases in Morocco postponed the clashes until the second half of October.
The CAF decided to hold a draw in the event that an Egyptian and Moroccan team qualified for the final, to determine the venue for the final between Egypt and Morocco.
While if the final is purely Egyptian or pure Moroccan, the country of the competitors will host the match.
