Real Madrid’s Lucas Vásquez received a tempting Arab offer in the current summer transfer market.
The daily “Marca” reported that a Qatari club had made a large financial offer to Vázquez, to entice him to join it.
So far, Vasquez has not made his decision, and his agent has not closed the door to negotiations.
The player preferred to have a few days to think before making his final decision, which could mean saying goodbye to Real Madrid.
For its part, the Real Madrid administration left the decision of its future in the hands of Vázquez.
The player’s name was associated with Tottenham and Napoli, but the two clubs did not make a real offer for Real Madrid.
Lucas Vásquez’s contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2021, and he has the right to sign any other club for free from next January.
Vasquez is one of Zinedine Zidane’s favorite players, as he considers him his gold substitute.
But with Real Madrid recruiting young players recently, Lucas Vásquez’s role diminished, and he participated in just 23 games last season, during which he scored 3 goals and scored two goals.
Lucas Vásquez, 29, of the youth of Real Madrid, previously wore the captaincy of the subsidiary, before leaving on loan to Espanyol in the 2014/15 season.
And with his return to Real Madrid in the summer of 2015, Lucas Vásquez participated in 206 games with Merengue, in which he scored 24 goals and scored 46, and contributed to crown the Champions League 3 consecutive seasons, and also won twice the Spanish league.
