Al-Ahly scored his biggest win over Ismaili since 2006, after defeating him by three with no response on Friday.
Al-Ahly’s victory over Ismaily came at Burj Al Arab Stadium as part of matchday 26 of the league.
FilGoal.com reviews the top numbers that came after that win.
The biggest victory
On May 22, 2006, Al-Ahly defeated the Ismaili by four without a response.
Since then, Al-Ahly has failed to beat Ismaily with a score of more than two unanswered goals.
Now, after a victory at Burj Al Arab Stadium, that victory became Al-Ahly’s biggest over the dervishes in 14 years.
The return of the sheikh
Since Ahmed al-Sheikh moved to Al-Ahly from the clearing in Egypt, it was his best scoring season in the league with the red genius after last season.
In the 2018-2019 season, Sheikh scored three league goals with Al-Ahly.
Following his goal at Ismaili, Sheikh’s league goal record for Al-Ahly this season reached four.
As for Sheikh’s best seasons overall, he was with clear Egypt when he moved to Fayoumi’s teams on loan from Al-Ahly and scored 17 goals in 2016-2017.
This is in addition to the 2014-2015 season, in which he scored eight goals.
Ali maaloul
That season he became the second-best number for left-back Ali Maaloul, accompanied by Al-Ahly, in the league after last season.
Maaloul scored eight league goals last season and now, following his penalty at Ismaily, he has reached five.
Only three goals separate Maaloul from his achievement equation last season and four for surpassing him.
Filler bonus
Substitutions for Al-Ahly coach Rene Fyler always make a difference in matches, and this was largely evident after the league’s resumption last August.
Al-Ahly played nine games since the league resumed, winning seven, drawing once and defeating once.
During those nine games, Fyler’s substitutions made the difference in four games against Aswan, El Gouna, Haras El Hodoud and Ismaili.
The difference that Filer replacements make is as follows:
Aswan
Aliu Badji scored a goal, Walid Suleiman scored a goal, Muhammad Hani scored a goal.
Three substitutions out of five confirmed Al-Ahly’s victory after taking the lead with an unanswered goal.
El Gouna
Marwan Mohsen took part and snatched three points in deadly time for Al-Ahly after the match headed towards a goalless draw.
border guards
Once again, Fyler’s substitutions snatched three fatal points from Al-Ahly.
A goalless draw dominated the match and Walid Suleiman scored a goal, as did Afsha.
The maker of both goals was Junior Ajay.
Ismaily
Al-Ahly went ahead with a goal without responding, and Ahmed Al-Sheikh scored and scored a goal to confirm the Red Genie victory.
In total, Al-Ahly scored 17 goals since the league resumption, and Fyler’s substitutions contributed to scoring 6 and 4.
Fyler’s substitutes were the Swiss coach’s password in Al-Ahly’s matches.
