The Media Center of the Council of Ministers confirmed that what was circulated on social media pages about the lack of implementation of the new assistance system for private school students during the 2020/2021 academic year is incorrect.

The center said, in its weekly report on monitoring and responding to rumors, today Friday, that it has contacted the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, which denied the news, confirming that there is no truth in the lack of application of the new system of assistance to private school students during the 2020/2021 academic year.

The Ministry stated that the map and the dates of school attendance, which apply during the new academic year 2020/2021, apply to all public and private schools without exception at the level of the Republic, with the aim of protecting students from the Coronavirus infection and limit its spread.

The Ministry asked all the media and users of social networks to investigate the accuracy and objectivity in the publication of news, and to communicate with the competent authorities to ensure before publishing information that is not based on any fact and generates confusion between students and parents, and if there are any questions, please call the ministry number.
