Ahmed Al-Rikabi, the father of the boy who drowned in swimming pools inside the Zamalek club, denied his intention to waive the indictment of the employees who caused the death of his son.

Speaking to the channel “Echo Al-Balad”, Al-Rikabi said: “I was thinking of forgiving the employees, but that may herald a new disaster, so I will not forgive them and wait for their account, so that these people do not destroy the club”.

Al-Rikabi added: “How can the person in charge of monitoring and securing the children be 19 years old and be an employee of the Zamalek club? I direct my message to Mortada Mansour and tell her that the system at the Zamalek club is failing.” .

The father of the child who was drowning continued: “My son stayed in the pool for an hour after all the children were discharged and they told me that my son was not there and that there was no cooperation from safety or security. the camera monitors, and they refused to look in the pool after confirming that no one was there. Inside”.

Al-Rikabi added: “I was surprised after an hour of searching and after going to Mortada Mansour’s office that the pool my children drowned in was unattended with cameras, but that was after I wasted an hour searching for that my son went under water. “

And he continued: “I hope that Murtaza Mansour blames the neglected, the first of whom is in charge of monitoring the club through the cameras, because he is the first to tell me that my children are not in the place where he drowned.”

And the boy’s father finished: “I heard rumors that they prohibited me from entering Zamalek, but nothing happened to me. Most likely, I will not re-enter the club due to a psychological problem left by my son’s drowning. I paid to join the club for a better life for my kids, but my son drowned in the club, and I’ll just say thank goodness. for all”.
