“Shawky” determines the days when students in the new educational system must attend single-shift schools. Get to know them

Dr Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, announced on Tuesday that the previous academic year was exceptional, and Egypt managed to cross it successfully compared to different countries.

Shawky added, during a press conference to present the details of the plan for the new academic year 2020/2021, in the presence of Osama Heikal, Minister of Information, that the study will begin on October 17 in schools and universities, with the exception of the international schools on September 15.

Shawky emphasized that housing 23 million students and one million teachers in schools in light of the Corona epidemic is a new challenge for the Egyptian state.

Shawky announced that students in the new educational system do not use technology, unlike high school students who are completely dependent on modern electronic media, especially tablets, while the middle classes have been developing electronic platforms to receive research from them and evaluate it. .

Shawky announced that the school attendance system is different at the Republic level, adding that each school will have a special status to distribute students to spaces to reduce densities.

He added that the new education system includes 8 million students from kindergarten to third grade school, adding that the ministry will announce general controls for directorates and departments and each school according to its divisions.

He announced that students from kindergarten to third grade school if it is a school for one period, from Sunday to Wednesday, and for a school with two shifts, students will attend 4 days and each school has its own schedule.
