Books – Ali Al-Bahji:

Former Al-Ahly and Egypt player Rabie Yassin commented on Pyramids’ announcement to sign Huddersfield Club winger Ramadan Sobhi starting next season and with a contract that runs until 2025.

Yassin said in exclusive remarks to Masrawy: “Al-Ahly, who attended, was not and will not be the first or last time that the Al-Ahly player left.”

He added: “Al-Ahly will continue to be Al-Ahly, and the Red Castle fans know this well, and their reaction is natural, but there will be some who understand the matter and know that the team does not rely on anyone.”

He explained that the crisis was in the fact that Ramadan Sobhi was one of the sons of the Al-Ahly club, so the fans were affected by his decision to leave the club and move to Pyramids.

He indicated that Ramadan Sobhi’s brilliance will depend on the coach, his personality on the field and how he is employed on the team.

He concluded: “Ramadan Sobhi will need spaces with the Pyramids team to demonstrate his effectiveness against opponents, since it depends on the exit and therefore must be used in the left wing position.”

Ramadan Sobhi had played for the Al-Ahly club during the current Egyptian We Are League season, before his loan from Huddersfield ended at the end of last June.
