The engineer Mohamed Faraj Amer, president of the Smouha Club, announced today, Monday morning, the appointment of Ahmed Sami as technical director of the club’s first football team, replacing Hamada Sidqi, who resigned due to poor results.
Amer said Ahmed Sami’s auxiliary corps includes Ahmed Hammouda as general coach, Khamis Jaafar as coach, Ahmed Naji Medria for guards and coach Will for charges, while maintaining the medical and administrative apparatus.
Smouha drew in his last match in league competition against Aswan by three goals for each team.
The engineer Mohamed Faraj Amer, president of the Smouha Club, reached an agreement with Ahmed Sami, technical director of the first football team of the Tanta Club, to take over the training of the Alexandrian team, succeeding Hamada Sidqi, who left for the decrease in team results.
According to a Smouha Club source, Ahmed Sami, the administration informed several players that Ahmed Sami will coach the Alexandria team, in the next stage.
Ahmed Sami apologized to Tanta officials for completing his job as the team’s technical director.
Sami had assumed technical responsibility for Tanta, succeeding Mohamed Salah only for a period of several days.
