The State Ministry for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad confirmed that the video circulating about the assault on a young Egyptian in the State of Kuwait in a commercial store is “partial” and does not include all the details of the incident.
The ministry stated in its issued statement that the incident was related to a dispute over products at a children’s play store that ended with “an apology to the Egyptian citizen.”
The ministry added that the two young men, who attacked the young Egyptian at his workplace due to the fight, are being detained and investigated at the police station.
Kuwait News Inspection Network published, through its official Twitter account, a video clip showing the aggression of Kuwaiti teenagers against an Egyptian worker.
The video, which was posted by the network, showed Kuwaiti teenagers fighting with the Egyptian, who works at a game store in Fahaheel, and the network claimed that young Kuwaiti were eager to document the incident with the video, confirming his intention to attack the Egyptian worker.
