In a new assault incident, a video clip documented the moment when two Kuwaitis attacked an Egyptian expatriate in a toy store in Fahaheel, southern Kuwait.

The video, posted by the “Inspection Kuwait” news network account, documented via Twitter, showed “Kuwaiti teenagers documenting their fight with Al-Masry, who works in a toy store in Fahaheel.”

The network, authorized by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, according to his personal profile via Twitter, stated that the Kuwaiti youth were eager to document the incident on video, confirming their intention to attack the Egyptian worker.

The motives for the fight or its timing were not immediately clear, while the video shows that two Kuwaitis were targeted at the Egyptian worker, while a third documented his assault, as he was beaten and thrown to the ground.

There was also no official response from the Kuwaiti authorities, who had previously interfered in similar incidents of aggression.

This is not the only case of aggression against Egyptians in Kuwait. Last July, an Egyptian worker named “Walid” was beaten by a Kuwaiti citizen in the “Sabah Al-Ahmad” trade association, after the former demanded that he comply with the association’s rules and pay for his belongings in a manner that will not violate store regulations.

The Kuwaiti citizen responded by slapping the Egyptian worker three times, before the supermarket assistants intervened to calm the Kuwaiti.

In a quick reaction, the president of the association, Nasser Dha’ar Al-Otaibi, resigned, expressing his discontent at the “shameful behavior that occurred by the citizen in front of the public and under the roof of an entity that manages it” . The assailant was arrested, the case was registered as a misdemeanor, and the case was followed up.

Three weeks ago, the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Rai” published the attack of a Kuwaiti citizen and another Saudi against an Egyptian doctor, after they broke into his room and beat him, demanding treatment.
