Manuel José said: “The refereeing was not in the best way in the match.”
“There is a suspicion of a penalty against Rami Rabia, as well as the disallowed goal of Tigris for offside, I think it is a correct goal,” he said in his remarks on the Al-Ahly channel.
“The Wadi Degla team played well, with a competitive philosophy, and strong despite their position,” he added.
He went on to say, “I worked before in the Tigris Valley as a technical advisor, and there is a caring state on their side, but the Al-Ahly club is definitely ‘my club’.
He added: “From my point of view, there were two bad judgment decisions, from my vision, but I’m not sure because in the end I didn’t see the two shots from all angles.”
He continued: “A fair match and a fair result. Al-Ahly’s goal is the best of the match and the referee’s decisions are the worst of the match.”
Al-Ahly won with two goals to none at the expense of Wadi Degla on matchday 24 of the Egyptian League.
