“The position of the league table and the possibility of postponing Africa? My answer will not change because I do not like to talk about these issues,” Fyler said.
He added during the press conference: “I do not like to talk about topics that I cannot change, nor do I have information about them. I only work with the data that I have.”
“I work and prepare for each game separately and I don’t worry about any other matter. When the semi-finals in Africa are set, we will be ready in September or October,” he said.
“The first half was good between the two teams. Al-Ahly and Degla played good football,” Fyler said of his team’s victory against Wadi Degla.
He went on to say: “The absences made us pay players in positions other than their main positions, and in modern football each player must be competent to play in more than one position and work with the players for that.”
Al-Ahly won with two goals to none at the expense of Wadi Degla on matchday 24 of the Egyptian League.
