A source close to Hussein El-Sayed, left-back of the Al-Ahly Club, revealed the details of the call that the player had in recent days with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club president, to discuss his future with the team and whether he will continue into the next football season or leave again.
The source said in statements to Laila Kora: “At first, Hussein Al-Sayed asked to speak to Al-Khatib through a message he sent to the club president’s phone, who did not take long to communicate with the player minutes later and told him. Previously, a source revealed in Laila Kora that Hussein Al-Sayed does not want to go out on loan again at the beginning of the next season and will ask to continue with Al-Ahly or leave permanently.
Hussein Al-Sayed terminated his contract with Tunisian Sfaxien last August due to flight conditions that prevented him from traveling and joining the team’s training sessions, to return to being a player in the ranks of Al-Ahly.
