The African Football Confederation has identified 4 scenarios for the teams that will qualify for the next editions of the African Champions League and the African Confederation Cup, depending on the status of the local tournament in the CAF member states.

Al-Kaf stated that regarding the national federations that ended the 2019/2020 season, the teams will be ranked according to known criteria.

The second scenario is for federations that did not complete the domestic championship for the 2019/2020 season (ended the tournament by Corona), but agreed to arrange for teams to participate in the league championship, for teams to qualify from the known way in this country.

The third scenario for federations that canceled the entire season without specifying any ranking for the teams, they qualify for the Champions League and Confederacy, teams that qualified for last season.

The fourth scenario, which applies to the Egyptian league and is expected to end at the beginning of next November, the CAF stated in its intervention that the local federation must choose a scenario of the three teams mentioned above to determine the teams that will represent this country, provided that the CAF is notified that it will respond with approval or rejection.
